Project

Below you can find the complete explanation, but to give you a quick overview, here you can find the main goals of the project:

MISSION
Create a network of tourist destinations based on the fusion of Nature and Art.

VISION
Let a community of enthusiasts spring and participate in the creation of the net.

The aim of this project is to try to create a network of tourist destinations based on the fusion of Nature and Art. With its help, a community of enthusiasts will spring: people – just like the destinations themselves – will be able to share their experiences and/or knowledge about specific places through the blog, and will also be willing to propose new destinations to include in the map.

Press the button to find the map!

Thanks to the creation of this network of destinations and the identification of artistically relevant natural sites, people will not only retrace some significant moments of the artists’ lives, but will also observe and study their natural environment – plants, flowers, water sources, etc. – up close, immersing themselves in the environment in which they were inspired.

The project will start with the gardens of Monet’s house as a best practice.
In the future, once a small niche of enthusiasts will be consolidated, it will be possible to identify other artistic and natural destinations to include in the map.

Few people know that Claude Monet’s house in Giverny has not one, but two gardens. The best known is the water garden, which has an incredible number of weeping willows and flowers. It was here, in front of this pond, that the master painted his famous Water Lilies.
Through the blog, we will discover the gardens of Claude Monet’s house and the secrets of his paintings.

Other possible future examples could be:

  • Wheatfield with Crows, Vincent Van Gogh
  • Country garden with sunflowers, Gustav Klimt
  • Tahitian mountains, Paul Gauguin
